Inhibition my buddy my pal

Inhibition was a close friend of mine

I deserted her in what I thought was the end of time

But now I have to make amends

And her alter I must again tend

For She conceals my poor heart

So often mistreated and torn apart

Like a wild boar destroys the earth

They have dug out my very self worth

Allowing me to bleed and die

Till another resurrects me under a new blue sky

So perfect and seemingly clear

Forgetting that storm clouds are often so near

In a bid to find my own salvation

And to give my pessimistic soul a vacation

I indulge the idea of forever type insinuations

Knowing they lack any foundations

If only I were a rock

Or maybe if I had a cock

I would partake in this foolishly assumed superiority

Oblivious that it is not a divine or an attractive quality

I have no hate

All I do is debate

For a different society

Where inhibition has no need to shelter me
